This week's recipe "Granola Grabbers" was chosen by Michelle of Bad Girl Baking. If you would like the recipe for these cookies, be sure to check out her blog as it will be posted there.
School starts this month, and this is the perfect recipe for an after school snack. My kitchen smelled fabulous while these little gems were baking, and I didn't feel too bad about nibbling on them as they are full of good-for-you stuff! (I'm beginning to think of butter as its own dairy food group....)

Yum, yum, yum....I want some MORE! Yours look great!
You are right these are a perfect after school snack. Looks delicious!
Butter is made from a dairy product, so it's a dairy product too, right? I've found I can justify anything (including cake for breakfast) since joining this group!
yeah, i loved the way they made the house smell, too. i'm just closing my eyes to all the butter...
I would have eaten these up after school as a kid, too! Those look fantastic!
Lookin good!! I think i may have to make some of these for the GALS shipment...unless I eat them all again.
I like the way you think. I agree that butter is dairy and therefore its good for you... all 14 tbsp! LOL. Glad you liked the cookies!

What a great looking plate of cookies...yours look particularly wonderful.
Ha! Ha! About the butter. Too funny. They look tasty.
I agree, butter is very good for you, and when you make it from raw cows cream its even better! Right?!
Your cookies look great!
Butter IS a food group, isn't it? ;)
Butter is its own dairy product. Just as mashed potatoes are a legit vegetable and beer is an acceptable carb. But your cookies are lovely, and must give your kids a reason to be happy for school to start!
I was about to say the exact same thing as Rebecca but she beat me to it! Butter definitely is its own food group. It might even be an addictive drug!
How did you get yours so perfectly round? Fill me in because my cookies are never ever perfect looking.
No kidding! So much butter! Next week's doesn't seem to be any better. But the real question: how did the cat feel about these cookies? I offered one to my stray, but it stuck with the tuna, probably because cats don't eat cookies. Oh well. More for me! Haha.
Your cookies look great! Nice photos - and I love your cat.
I'm definitely going to try making these more kid-friendly for my picky kids! Yours looks great!

I totally agree with you about butter, and good luck in school!
Mmmm, those look delish!
We TWD'ers are sure doing our part to keep the butter makers in business, aren't we, lol?
That's great that the cookies were such a big hit with your family. My children were way toooo picky for a cookie with nuts and dried fruit!
